Granville Group manufactures a variety of UCF2/UCF3/UKF2/UKF3/UCFS2/UCFS3/HCF2/UCFX00/UKFX00 4-bolt square flange units for a variety of applications. These bearing units feature housings with bearings fitted into them, which eliminates the need for buying separate bearings.
The standard mounted units include set screw type, tapered bore adapter sleeves type and narrow and wide inner ring with eccentric locking collar. Corrosion-resistant housing and bearings made of stainless steel, nickel plating, cast iron, Thermoplast and more, offer a durable pillow block that will meet your needs.
A variety of dimensions are available, and bore diameters range from 12mm to 140mm. L3 triple lip seals are available for increased lubrication retention, and four star F type seals are also an option. Pillow blocks with high temperature bearings are also available.

| Features of Bearing Units |
| TANN bearing units are easy to mount widely used in transportation machinery, mines, metallurgy, reaper, textile machinery, bodybuilding equipment, motors, chain belts, chain wheels, and automobiles, etc. The insert bearings correspond to 62 series deep groove ball bearing, it is with the same structure, but has wider inner rings. The bearing insert is well protected and can compensate for alignment defects thanks to its spherical outer ring. If necessary it can be replaced very easily. The cast iron housing has a grease nipple for re-lubrication. |

| The performance and reliability of rolling bearings are greatly affected by the materials which the bearing components are made from TANN bearing rings and balls are made of high quality of Gcr15 (100cr6) - type of bearing steel and the chemical composition is shown as below. |

| Most of ball-bearing cages are made of cold-rolled steel sheet. And for some bearing types and special applications, cages are made of glass fiber reinforced nylon 66 plastic, phenolic or machined brass. |
| The material of bearing housings is gray or ductile cast iron, housings can also be made of pressed steel, stainless steel, or engineering plastic for special purposes, depending on application and or customer's requirement. |

| TANN uses gray cast iron as the standard material for cast iron housings. Among metallic material cast iron has a high damping capacity, which is an ideal characteristic for mechanical components. This means cast iron, exhibits superior performance when absorbing vibration, compared with other materials. Additionally cast iron is suitable for high temperatures of up to 300C°. |

| Lubrication of Bearing Units |
| The bearing units are all grease-lubricated and are basically to be relubricated. The grease injected from the grease fitting by means of a grease gun flows into the bearing chamber passing through the grease groove in the housing & grease hole in the bearing outer ring. |
| For relubrication, it is recommended to supply the grease during opethe ration of Bearing units so as to avoid excessive greasing. |
| As the bearings are to be operated for ratha er long time without supplement of grease, the grease must be of high quality. |
| When selecting the grease, care must be taken not to use improper grease as there are various types of grease available by mixing mineral oil and metallic scope base according to the application purpose. |
