A cam follower, also known as a track follower, is a specialized roller or needle bearing designed to follow cam lobe profiles. The thick-walled outer ring enables high radial loads while reducing distortion and bending stresses.The stud-type follower was replaced using a standard bearing and bolt. They are easier to use and can also handle higher loads. 

Cam follower bearings have high rigidity and accuracy as follower bearings for the cam mechanism and straight-line movement. And are used as a guide roller for cam mechanisms or linear motion.
