- What does "36/45" mean? Can I install it if they don't match?
- These are the internal and external chamfer angles. They must match your frame and fork crown; otherwise, the headset won't seat properly, leading to play or frame damage.
- Why do my headset bearings rust so often? How long will this one last?
- Headsets are prone to sweat and rain. This model features 2RS seals and waterproof grease to combat this. For maximum longevity, apply a thin layer of marine grease to the outside during installation.
- How do I know if I need H6.5 or H7 height?
- The best way is to measure your old bearing with a caliper. H6.5 means 6.5mm height. Using the wrong height may cause an excessive gap or friction under the headset cap.
